A Gurkha warrior who without any help crushed more than 30 Taliban contenders has been granted the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross by the Queen.
Corporal Dipprasad Pun, 31, portrayed how he was impelled on by the conviction that he would kick the bucket thus had nothing to lose in going up against the aggressors who overran his checkpoint in Afghanistan.
His chivalry honor is second just to the Victoria Cross - the most elevated respect for courage notwithstanding the adversary.
Cpl Pun, from the first Battalion the Royal Gurkha Rifles, was given the CGC amid an inauguration service at Buckingham Palace, amid which various different warriors were perceived for their courage.
Talking subsequent to getting the respect from the Queen, the Gurkha said: 'I'm exceptionally energized and cheerful to here in the Palace to get the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross. This will be an incredible memory for what's to come.'
The officer let go more than 400 rounds, propelled 17 explosives and exploded a mine to upset the Taliban attack on his checkpoint close Babaji in Helmand Province, southern Afghanistan, last September.
