Sinha is an individual from the Bharatiya Janata Party. He entered governmental issues by challenging in by-race inverse Rajesh Khanna.Sinha cited in a meeting that his greatest lament in his life was challenging race against his companion Khanna. Khanna won the races by beating Singa by 25,000 votes[9]but anyway, he was harmed and never addressed Sinha from there on. Sinha tried to fabricate his kinship with Khanna, however that never happened till Khanna's passing in 2012.[10]

He won the Patna Sahib Lok Sabha voting public in Bihar amid the Indian general decisions, 2009. He crushed another film big name Shekhar Suman. Out of a sum of 552,293 votes surveyed, Sinha got 316,472 votes. He won the seat in the consequent Indian general races, 2014, also.

He turned into a bureau serve in the Third Vajpayee service from the thirteenth Lok Sabha, holding two portfolios, the branch of Health and Family Welfare (Jan 2003-May 2004), and the division of transportation (August 2004).[11] As of May 2006, he was selected as the leader of the BJP Culture and Arts Department.
